HERE IS THE GRAND GALA OF PASTRY
The world’s greatest masters, winners of the international competitions,
will present the works that made them famous
Other dedicated events:the Italian junior and senior championships,
for the first time between teams
At the 33rd SIGEP (International Exhibition of artisan Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery production, being held at Rimini Fiera from Saturday 21st to Wednesday 25th January 2012 in 90,000 m2, with approximately 750 companies) the winners of Lyon’s Coup du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2011, the Junior World Cup 2011 and The Pastry Queen 2012, Rimini’s new Ladies World Championship, will present their creations, works that made them famous in these international competitions.In the course of the day it will therefore be possible to run through the preparation stages for the benefit of the attendees and at the end all the great Masters will receive an acknowledgement from SIGEP.
As well as the Grand Gala of Pastry, the program of the five days also includes the Junior Pastry and Chocolate Championship,which will establish the Italian team taking part in the category’s upcoming world championship.There will also be the Italian Senior Championship:in this case, the winners will make up the Italian team at the next world championship in Lyon.
The pastry/confectionery events have the patronage of the Academy of Italian Master Confectioners and are organized by Rimini Fiera in collaboration with CASTAlimenti. The events are coordinated by master pastry chef and confectioner Roberto Rinaldini.
